As part of a 21st Century American strategy, the U.S. has launched a domestic industrial and economic development policy, with a particular emphasis on advanced technologies. With the passage of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors and Science Act (CHIPS Act), a total of $2 trillion will be invested in American advanced industries over the next decade.
